Sholay Adventure - A Bicycle Safari

Introduction: On this one day biking adventure, relive the times of Sholay as you wind your way through the untainted routes of Ramanagaram. Imagine scaling the ravines inhabited by Sholay‘s Gabbar Singh, stepping across boulders where basanti danced over glass and biking through the beautiful countryside where legendary song ‘yeh dosti’ was shot. Why should you go? This day we also climb the Ramadevara Betta hill. Apart from Sholay, David Lean’s A Passage to India was also shot here. As you climb up the three hundred odd steps to the middle of the peak, you will come across a ‘Lord Rama’ temple. There is a belief that Rama, Sita and Lakshmana passed through this place during their Aranyavasa (exile in the forest). A ‘Lord Rama’ temple dedicated to them was built around a cave where statues of the trio were apparently found by a tribal couple hundreds of years ago. You will also see a pond called Ram Theertha where a myth exists that on specific nights, the pure at heart can spot golden idols of the heroes of the epic. At the top of hill you will find yourself amidst the sound of silence and with heavenly views all around. When is it? Tour days : Every Sunday Duration : 1 day Where is it? We transport people and bikes to a certain point and then start riding from there. Who is it for? Adults, Corporate, Groups. Age: Suitable for 18+ What is included? Trip leader, 21 speed Trek mountain bike with helmet, breakfast at Silver Oak Farm, refreshments, mineral water, lunch at Mayura Pine Top and AC support van. Support Van: A van follows the group of riders throughout the trip and carries all belongings. If at any point riding seems a little hard, the van takes you for as long or as little as you wish it to. What is the group size? Group Class Package : Group size can vary from 4 to 15 depending on the package and the slot.  NOTE- We need minimum 4 guests to conduct any of our day tour. If we don't get, we reserve the right to cancel the tour.- A custom private tour for group of friends, families or corporates can also be arranged on any day. Who is the experience provider?
