Dance is a beautiful art form comprising of rhythm, movement, energy and engagement of space. It is used as a form of expression, communication, social interaction and is presented in a spiritual or performance setting. For us dance is joy.
We are a performing dance company and a temple of art. The confluence of dance and music form our soul . The dance productions are deeply rooted in Indian classical dance traditions and yet contemporary in their presentations which make them dynamic, refreshing, innovative and a visual treat. The journey of training artists in classical and contemporary dance techniques began in 2005.
"It might be a profession for some and an art for many. But for us, it’s a need, a need to provide deliverance to hundreds of human emotions and transcend from the chaos surrounding us. It’s the way we relate with people and seek beauty in creation. For us, dance is a manifestation of serenity and divinity. It’s our belief that dance can shape their destinies, when they are brought together. We hope to see this belief of ours materialize in form of Chalana- dance for a cause.
