Sculpture in fruits and vegetables is considered one of the traditional arts & crafts in Thailand. This form of art expression is much loved and admired not only in Thai culture but also world-wide. Feroz Khan, the trainer, is a carver who created many designs using fruit and vegetable, soap and ice. It was during his job at Taj Hotel, Mumbai he met the traditional art of carving fruit and vegetables. Then he has concentrated more on his work, carving on all types of fruits and vegetables. He hence pursued a three year full time degree course at Mumbai, Rizvi Hotel Management College of culinary, bakery and confectionary. He went on to become a top student of his class. At Khan Fruit Carving Institute, you will learn the tradition of carving fruits and vegetables spread across the globe and is now used as a display weddings, birthdays, christening and private parties as well as a unique gift for someone special About the Course This Level 2: Advanced Carving Course for people who have attended the Beginner level course consists of 30 sessions of 7 sittings consisting of total workload of 16 HOURS Age Group: 13+ Suitable for: Male & Female Learn to make beautiful sculpture on fruit and vegetable, soap and ice. Decorate parties and tables, Special occasion, wedding, and anniversary. We provide all material (Fruits and vegetable, carving knife (set), carving set (7 chisel), CD with photos of the course, and work certificate upon completion of the course.) There will be a demonstration on ice-carving at the end of the session.
