Do Basic Paragliding Course in Mumbai

Introduction: Virar is the closest and the best place near Mumbai for paragliding training. Being a coastal area the winds at Virar are laminar, predictable and ideal for aviation sports. Early morning and evening winds are suitable for beginners and mid and early afternoon conditions are perfect for advance flyers. Sidney hill, Black Beauty, Twin Rock hill, Tungareshwar, Kaner hills are a few location for hill flying. Virar is the only place near Mumbai with so many choices all in a radius of about 6 kms. Virar has hundreds of acres of open land where winch based training is conducted. Why should you go? Learn to independently take off from the hill and land with the paraglider in the basic course. The entire activity is supervised with an instructor and radio instructions when in the sky. A step by step approach that ensures full safety is emphasized and you are in your comfort zone. Teaching groups consist of two to four students for personal attention so right technique can be learnt at the start. Team is composed of two trainee instructors, two assistant instructors and a senior instructor. Students get independent equipment and individualized training. Where is it? Space Apple offers basic, intermediate and advance courses in paragliding. The club offers hill flying as well as winch based flights. The most important skill to master in paragliding is ground handling. Every student who continues paragliding after the basic course is given special training in ground handling which drastically reduces the risks at takeoffs and landings. Terms and conditions: 1.
