The coloured glass is crafted into stained glass artifactsin which small pieces of glass are arranged to form patterns or pictures held together (traditionally) by strips of lead and supported by a rigid frame.
Design, Draw, Cut the coloured Glass and Solder the pieces together to form beautiful art pieces.
The January One is proud to offer the very best in the education of stained glass. The approach to our classes is that of an apprenticeship,where you learn as one would in an industry setting.
You learn :
Glass Cutting
Grinding
Copper foiling
Soldering
Nature of imported glasses and tools
System of measurements
Estimation and Costing
The course duration would be 1 hr/day for 6 days for the Basic Course.
The dates are flexible, from Sun - Sat
Timings : Flexible from 10 am -8 pm.
Each batch would consists of maximum of 4 persons.
Age criteria : Above 16 years.
Who can join : He.She,GroupsLocation : Sector 15, Sanpada East, Navi Mumbai.
Each Student gets complete attention and takes home a piece of Jewellery/Suncatchers(Basic Course) .Each person carries home maximum of 2 items depending upon the complexity of the design.All experiments can be carried home.
Material will be provided by January One.
Trainer: Laxmiprajakta Rohekar,Ceramic and Glass Designer,National Institute Of Design,Ahmedabad, having 6 Years of experience.
