Muay Thai Martial Art Classes

Introduction: Muay Thai is not just any other martial art. Referred to as 'The Art of Eight Limbs', it makes use of eight points of contact as opposed to two points and four points used in sport-oriented martial arts. This art is indeed very different from other indigenous boxing techniques. Muay Thai is one of the few full contact sports and is thus very effective for self-defense, as compared to other arts. Further, Muay Thai is not only beneficial for our health but it is also an excellent self-defense skill. We teach basic and advanced techniques of Muay Thai in this class. Why should you go? Women are nowhere safe and secure alone or so is the belief. We’ve always heard of sexual attacks or abuses on women in public places like the bus stop, parking lots, deserted streets, or even in a crowded mall. Housewives are attacked and looted and nowadays brutally murdered when they’re found alone in their houses. There’s an increase in such attacks especially in Bangalore. XMA trains women in real locations and emphasizes on the use of things available around such places that could be possible weapons for defense. Unlike the heroic stunts or the dramatic fights, now you may use the apt techniques to escape an emergency with a clear idea of the vital targets, techniques and defense. Where is it? Class Timings: You can pick the morning batch (6:30 to 8:00 am) or the evening batch (7:00 to 8:30 pm) Duration : Daily classes, for a month What is included? Training in Muay Thai by a highly skilled instructor. What is excluded? The instructor will not provide any material, participants may wear whatever they feel comfortable in. What is the group size? Group Class Package: Group size can vary from 5 to 20 depending on the package and the slot. Who is the experience provider? XMA ( Xtreme Muay Thai Academ) was established by Kru, Hemanth Kumar, who has trained amidst the national champions of Thailand. Having been in the field of Martial Arts for over 10 years, he is an experienced fighter and without a second opinion, an excellent instructor with extensive knowledge in training techniques. He fought and placed in world Kanazawa cup championship, 3rd Asian open Pankration championship, National Pankration championship etc... Kru, Hemanth Kumar officially started the Xtreme Muay Thai Academy Trust [R.] in Bangalore, on 16th May 2010. Terms and conditions: 1.
